Quiet get aways include an abundance of parks & historic sites.  French Creek, Grings Mill, Blue Marsh, JoAnna Furnace just to name a few.

If you want to increase the size of your family with a furry (or not so furry) friend, please stop by the Berks County Humane Society.  Now in two great locations to better serve the needs of the animals and people in the Berks County area.  Sign up for the newsletter, attend the monthly Furry Friday events or sign up as a volunteer.  Believe me, there is no shortage of things to do for the animals and you'll meet new friends too.  Or you might be interested in Llamas at Buck Hollow Llama Farm. 

All season outdoor activites. Class A water ways for fishing.  Camping, hiking trails, train rides, skiing and so much more.

We have down home diners and fabulous upscale restaurants.  Pennsylvania Dutch cooking and farmers markets overflowing with produce and homemade goodies.
