You'll never run out of things to do and see in Berks County. Just as an example-
There is always something going on at the Sovereign Center, national acts, special events, concerts and of course the Reading Royal Hockey Team. GO ROYALS!!
Let's not forget our baseball team, the Reading Phillies at First Energy Stadium.
If you want to increase the size of your family with a furry (or not so furry) friend, please stop by the Berks County Humane Society. Now in two great locations to better serve the needs of the animals and people in the Berks County area. Sign up for the newsletter, attend the monthly Furry Friday events or sign up as a volunteer. Believe me, there is no shortage of things to do for the animals and you'll meet new friends too. Or you might be interested in Llamas at Buck Hollow Llama Farm.
All season outdoor activities. Class A water ways for fishing. Camping, hiking trails, train rides, skiing and so much more.
We have down home diners and fabulous upscale restaurants. Pennsylvania Dutch cooking and farmers markets overflowing with produce and homemade goodies.
My all time favorite, the antique shopping!
I could go on for a very long time about the things I love about Berks, but I suggest you follow this link to The Chamber of Commerce for additional information.
